Its just not that easy

I'm sure you can agree when I say that being a Lesbian is not easy. I mean you would think that after all these women in history fought for our rights that we would have total freedom. Its not the case at all. At least it is not the case for me personally. I guess I'm here to advocate for anyone else but myself as I am in no position to know what everyone goes though in their daily lives.

With that said.

I thought that being a lesbian in New York City would be easy. It is one of the most gay friendly places I know. Just the other day when I rejected a guy and told him the reason why I wasn't interested in him, He spewed crap such as rug muncher and dyke at me. I mean it doesn't really offend me but I was kind of shocked that he was this upset. I thought he would be happy that it wasn't because he smelled like he had been doused in cat pee.

Oh and I do have a little complaint with the fact that there is no decent lesbian hangout unless you are 21+ . How about the 18+ or 19 in my case. What are we supposed to roam the straight clubs forever in desperate hopes of finding a hot girl and hoping that she "swings your way" .

THE PROBLEMS WITH THAT ARE:
1.) There is only a 50% chance that she is into girls
2.) She might a "bar lesbian" , you know the kind , the ones who only like girls when they had enough cranberry vodka in their system.

Other times, when I tell people I am a lesbian , they either assume that I am a slut and easy, or that I am going through a phase. It makes me laugh but it is also sad. "who is to blame for these stereotypes".

College

Yes I said it, Don't act like you weren't thinking it. I've met so many "lesbian until graduation" girls that it makes me sick. I know a girl who when sober almost despises lesbians. Three tequila shots later and you would think she's straight out of the L word.
Girls like that make me sick.

Well I am out of things to say for now.

Until next time,
