Influenster- My little miracle

Influenster.com

When I first heard of this website, I thought:  it must be a joke. I mean you go to this website and you unlock badge and have a chance at winning voxboxes. These little slices of heaven are completely free. there is no membership fee, and no survey. You try out some products and you review them. Its really that simple.

Now I know you're thinking that there must be a catch right? Well we are required to review the products and fill out a check-in questionnaire. I mean i think that is worth getting an awesome box full of full sized samples which include lotion, lip balm, and chocolate.

Now do me a favor and don't waste anymore time, just go to the website (listed above) and enjoy the sweet perks of this wonderful website.

Life is uncertain, Eat dessert first-Buttercup Bake Shop

Whenever I feel sad, or mad or happy, anxious etcetera, I think about cupcakes. I mean they pack the taste of  slice of cake without the size ad therefore less guilt arises.
So anyway, Im here to talk about Buttercup Bake shop. NOT to be confused with Magnolia. Altough current owner Jennifer Appel was one of the original owners of Magnolia. Yadi Yadi Yada shes not anymore and lets just leave it at that. Shes an amazing woman. Her demeanor is just great. But enough about that lets get down to business.

The mother of all cupcakes is the Red Velvet .

This lovely treat is just the right amount of vanilla with the right amount of cocoa powder and OMG the moistness of this cupcake is unbelievable.

My second favorite would have to be the Devil Do. Its chocolate with meringue icing and chocolate syrup. Its "my boyfriend just left me and i need to feel better" material. I would eat the wrapper if I could. Honest!

And Finally my third favorite is the Lady Baltimore
This cupcake is Almond cake with meringue icing a cherry, coconut chavings and gingersnap sprinkled on top. It never fails to please me. Its pretty to look at and d great as a gift.

At $2.50 a pop, this is the best deal you can get in the city. I mean the cupcakes are actually as good as they look. They are also available without icing and you can buy the icing all by itself. How wonderful is that.
Oh and on a last note, The warm way that the staff treats you just makes you want to purchase something even more. You are not rushed or pressured on a decision.

You know how the saying goes "theres no place like Home, except Buttercup Bake shop

Im back!!

Ah! Ive finally remembered my password for blogger. Geez I tell you, I was just doing something totally random and then it was like Eureka! I know what it is.

Out with the old in with the new

There comes a time in a young person's life when he/she must make a decision. To keep old friends or to drop them and make new ones.

Well its most hard to do sometimes.

I mean you've had good times and bad times with friends. In my own personal experience, I think sometimes its good to drop some old friends. I mean its not about being mean or just forgetting about them, but its also about taking a new stop towards adulthood or gaining closure over a past stage of your life that you just do not want to have contact with anymore.

The person I was last year is not the person that I today and my friends from then reflect this past person that I was and I mean you are who you hang out with (for the most part).
For example, say that There was really crazy party and
everyone made a complete fool out themselves, specially you. Months or even a year later you're looking back at this time when being a fool was cool. Now your more grounded with a good head on your shoulders. The friends at that party become a constant reminder of something that you want to keep in your past. New friends mean clean slate. a chance to make some awesome memories that you don't have to have any regrets about

Sometimes not being friend with these people doesn't mean that your their enemy either. I mean if I see them in the streets I will casually say hello and even strike a short conversation but it just means that we will not be hanging out and we definitely will not partying together.

To finish off I just want to say, are you friends with everyone you were friends with in junior high and high school.  Probably not, maybe a couple but certainly not everyone that was in your posse back then. So think about with growing come change and sometimes a change in friends is the best thing that happens to you.

Bye for now
