Life is uncertain, Eat dessert first-Buttercup Bake Shop

Whenever I feel sad, or mad or happy, anxious etcetera, I think about cupcakes. I mean they pack the taste of  slice of cake without the size ad therefore less guilt arises.
So anyway, Im here to talk about Buttercup Bake shop. NOT to be confused with Magnolia. Altough current owner Jennifer Appel was one of the original owners of Magnolia. Yadi Yadi Yada shes not anymore and lets just leave it at that. Shes an amazing woman. Her demeanor is just great. But enough about that lets get down to business.

The mother of all cupcakes is the Red Velvet .

This lovely treat is just the right amount of vanilla with the right amount of cocoa powder and OMG the moistness of this cupcake is unbelievable.

My second favorite would have to be the Devil Do. Its chocolate with meringue icing and chocolate syrup. Its "my boyfriend just left me and i need to feel better" material. I would eat the wrapper if I could. Honest!

And Finally my third favorite is the Lady Baltimore
This cupcake is Almond cake with meringue icing a cherry, coconut chavings and gingersnap sprinkled on top. It never fails to please me. Its pretty to look at and d great as a gift.

At $2.50 a pop, this is the best deal you can get in the city. I mean the cupcakes are actually as good as they look. They are also available without icing and you can buy the icing all by itself. How wonderful is that.
Oh and on a last note, The warm way that the staff treats you just makes you want to purchase something even more. You are not rushed or pressured on a decision.

You know how the saying goes "theres no place like Home, except Buttercup Bake shop
